Andres Jimenez, MD

CEO

As CEO of ImplementHIT, Dr. Jimenez helps hospitals and large physician practices optimize their use of the Allscripts EHR. As former Clinical Director of Content and Online Training at Allscripts as well as in his role with ImplementHIT, Jimenez provides guidance at different phases of EHR implementation. Dr. Jimenez has built thousands of V11 Note forms across many specialties, and directly trained hundreds of physicians how to use the Allscripts Enterprise EHR. Through his leadership, ImplementHIT's solutions are highly effective at driving adoption through clinical content optimization and the use of patent pending software to make training highly effective and convenient for learners. In addition, their solutions have a special focus on protecting physician productivity and directly contributing to the organization's ROI.

Dr. Jimenez graduated from the Dartmouth/Brown Medical Program, continued onto general surgery at Emory, and completed an Educational Leadership Fellowship at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Jimenez is currently a PhD researcher at Capella University and his dissertation (on track for completion in 2010) focuses on effectively training physicians to achieve meaningful use of their EHR. Jeanne Armstrong, MD

Chief Innovation Officer

Board certified in Family Medicine and over a decade of experience in healthcare IT, Jeanne Armstrong, MD has a proven track record for facilitating electronic health record (EHR) adoption and implementing effective workflow. Jeanne has been distinguished by the Medical Director at St. Vincent Sports Performance Center in Indianapolis as "...the most knowledgeable IT physician I know. She understands workflow and is a master at giving clinicians the best option possible when using an EMR. The fact that she is a physician means that she thinks about the pearls and pitfalls that physicians face when seeing patients. I can't think of a better consultant for me."

Beginning with her Family Medicine Residency at St. Vincent Hospital of Indiana, Jeanne has been a strong proponent of improving efficiency and management of health data. She has gained first-hand knowledge of every phase of EMR client configuration and implementation including: workflow and workflow design; optimization; system configuration of all modules spanning orders, results, tasking, desktops, chart views, scan, medications, note building, and training. Realizing the monetary and scheduling challenges of training physicians; yet knowing firsthand the value of training, Jeanne designed her first online training program in 2002. Additionally, she has been instrumental in facilitating electronic data conversions between competing EHR systems as well as creating system content and design for primary care, immediate care, wound center, gynaecological care and orthopedics. Having been involved with Allscripts v11 note product since 2006, today Jeanne is recognized as an accomplished expert in the area of note form building.

jeanne continues to practice urgent care medicine part time, utilizing several of the industry's top health record programs. She knows the pressure of seeing a schedule full of patients and the challenges of trying to craft medically relevant notes that meet billing, legal and compliance regulations as well as capturing the "essence" of the patient encounter efficiently. Because of this, Jeanne specializes in observational improvement and is sought after in providing physician users with this one-to-one training, observing their interaction with the EMR system, recommending options for more efficient use and explaining how the system can work for them-all the while delivering ongoing support and continual improvement action plans.

Additionally, Jeanne presently serves on the Allscripts physician advisory boards in the specialties of Family Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine. With this, she is unquestionably a dedicated professional seeking to create many new opportunities to help both fellow physicians and patients in a different way. In addition to working with patient and providers, she is experienced in working within the scope of a hospital's mission and purpose as well as within JCAHO and compliance guidelines.

With her vast experience working across the entire healthcare IT continuum and in-depth knowledge of Allscripts Enterprise EHR, Jeanne enjoys working directly with application build teams to further their product knowledge, provide ongoing training and clinical expertise and insight. She has the unique ability to drive end user optimization as well as optimization for system analysts and configuration specialists. Jeanne provides quality strategies for organizations nationwide seeking specialist advice on healthcare informatics in areas spanning training, system configuration, content development, optimization and product support.

On a personal note, Jeanne resides with her husband Rex in Lebanon, Indiana. Rex is an accomplished online stock trader. The pair has an affinity for adventure travel and fondly recollects highlights such as zebra watching on a hike near Johannesburg, South Africa or learning to make authentic tortillas at a cooking class in a local Mexican village.

Daniel Gebremedhin, MD

Clinical Education Director

Daniel Gebremedhin, MD is one of the new-breed of physician entrepreneurs on the cutting edge interface of Medical Informatics and Online Education. Currently an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, he serves as a staff physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He splits his time between clinical activities and Harvard Business School, where he is completing his MBA with a focus on Online Medical Education.

In addition to his work with Implement HIT, he is the acting President of the non-profit organization, Students of Medicine. He has an interest in developing health care infrastructure in the developing world, and currently serves as a consultant for the Clinton Foundation in Ethiopia. He is the founder of the Step One Method preparatory program. This innovative program has helped thousands of Medical Students prepare for the USMLE Step 1 Medical Board examination. He formerly spent four years as an MCAT Instructor for the Princeton Review. He is a sought after public speaker and travels regularly across the country giving instructional and motivational seminars on topics ranging from Medical Exam preparation to challenges facing the Health Care Industry.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. As a Woodruff Scholar, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego, graduating with Honors. He hails from San Diego, and currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts.



Charlie Ramirez

Chief Operating Officer, ImplementHIT, Inc.

Charlie Ramirez has 21 years of experience helping organizations reach their full potential and drive a sustained advantage through the smart leverage of informatics.

Before joining ImplementHIT, Charlie held various roles at Microsoft Corporation, ultimately managing their field operations efforts, building their largest U.S. territory serving small and midmarket organizations. Prior to joining Microsoft, Charlie held global roles in product management, marketing operations and business development at IBM, Dell and AT&T.

As Chief Operating Officer at ImplementHIT, Charlie is passionate about helping our clients take advantage of the latest advances in Healthcare IT to run more efficient operations and ultimately serve more value to patients and stakeholders.

Brianna Siobhan Q. Murphy, CPA, MBA

Chief Financial Officer, ImplementHIT, Inc.

Brianna Siobhan Q. Murphy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Washington University; is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified in Financial Management (CFM). She has applied her accounting and business experience to a wide range of industries including not-for-profit, public accounting, privately held small to medium business, home-based business, and individuals.


Having grown up in an entrepreneurial family, Ms. Murphy holds a strong passion for supporting independent business owners. She enjoys living an entrepreneurial lifestyle as a 10-year entrepreneur in the accounting, financial services, online, and home based business industries.

Gary DeJarnett

Information Technology Director, ImplementHIT, Inc.

After graduating from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Management Information Systems, Gary was employed by the university for 16 years as a programmer and programmer/analyst. This time spent learning from other programmers who had decades of experience in the computer industry was an invaluable way to begin an IT career. Gary had the opportunity to design and develop solutions in several languages from mainframe CICS/DB2 systems, to pc-based applications using Microsoft Access/VBA. In his final years at TTU he developed expertise in Flash Actionscript, writing web-based Flash applications to perform tasks such as allowing users to access the mainframe database through innovative interfaces. Over the years he worked with nearly every team in the application programming area including Student Records, Payroll, Personnel, Financial Aid, and Housing.


After leaving TTU Gary developed several innovative Flash-based applications such as AuctionMapper.com and SavvyGraph.com which have been featured in PC World and USA Today.Gary brings to ImplementHIT a wide variety of programming skills and decades of experience in developing IT-based solutions. These skills are now instrumental in successfully overseeing other developers as well as in creating innovative solutions for the medical industry.

Rita Wyrostek

Operations Director

Rita is an accomplished operational and organizational development professional with over 20 years of experience as manager, educator, consultant and entrepreneur. Rita began her career in the human relations industry working as trainer, consultant, and executive coach. Her expertise spans from strategic planning, redesign, change management, and professional development to managing processes and new product development areas.She has a training background in both corporate and academic positions.


In her corporate endeavours, Rita has taken part in several change management initiatives involving technology solutions to improve processes and increase productivity. By staying highly attuned to her client needs, her efforts helped produce the following results:

Omar Asprilla

Omar has extensive experience in healthcare and client services, previously in the pharmaceutical industry and now in health information technology.Omar completed a Bachelors in Philosophy, and a Masters Degree in Philosophy and Education from Stony Brook University of New York.He has over 15 years of experience working in pharmaceutical sales with Astra Zeneca in the US, and Otsuka Pharmaceutical in Barcelona Spain.In addition, he has successfully built several businesses that required ones that relied on extensive client relationship building skills.Fluent in three languages (English, Spanish and Catalan) Omar recently returned to the US and brings to ImplementHIT extensive client services experience in health care.


Favian Arbelaez

RVP, Client Services

With more than 15 years of sales and management experience, Favian Arbelaez has a unique ability to build relationships, trust, and rapport with almost anyone, and follows this up with unmatched enthusiasm for delivering value and benefits to clients. Favian's career has been a diverse one that led him on several distinct paths and resulted in various leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies. He began in sales in the insurance industry where he quickly became a top producer and was subsequently promoted to management. That is where he built his first sales team and realized a desire to drive customer satisfaction.


The next stop along the route was United Parcel Service where an opportunity was presented to join a great company with an excellent management program at a historic time. During his tenure at UPS, the company went public with its stock and ventured into retail with the acquisition of Mail Boxes Etc.


Favian's career took another leap forward when he joined Bank of America as a Banking Center Manager in 2003, as the company was quickly becoming one of the largest financial institutions in the world. His branches were consistently ranked as top performers in terms of sales, deposit growth, and customer satisfaction. In 2006, he accepted a VP position with Wachovia Bank. He opened three successful banking centers in North Texas, building relationships in the community and setting a standard of excellence in customer service.

As Director of Client Services with ImplementHIT, Favian looks forward to guiding the customer experience as they transition to EHR.

Becky Sheetz-Runkle

Marketing Director

Becky is a results-based marketing strategist and communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience. She brings solid and proven domain expertise in information technology and health IT.


She's supported a broad variety of marketing communications functions throughout her career and succeeds in applying tactical execution to achieve maximum results. Her career has included public relations, advertising, marketing plan development, lead generation, online marketing, customer retention, and more. She has architected strategic messaging in alignment with sales strategy for a wide variety of clients in the business-to-business and business-to-government sectors. Becky has helped many telecom, software, enterprise resource planning, database management, geographic information systems, wireless, multi-media entertainment, management consulting, electronic health records, healthcare software, and healthcare systems companies reach their marketing goals. She's also supported the U.S. Army.


Co-founder and Vice President of Client Services for Q2 Marketing, Becky has spent many years on the agency side. Prior to working in technology marketing, Becky worked as communications director on Capitol Hill and as a journalist in Pennsylvania. She has a BA in Political Science and a BA in History from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.


Becky is a proponent of quantifiable and integrated marketing. Her Marketing By Numbers column appeared in Washington Business Journal and various other national online business sources.
